Help build a stronger future by becoming a member of Aboutpeoples Party of Australia.
Party membership allows you to support our values, participate in party activities, contribute to policy discussions, and help us meet the requirements for registration under New South Wales electoral law.
Eligibility
Who Can Join?
To be counted towards party registration in New South Wales, members must generally:
- Be enrolled to vote in New South Wales.
- Be at least 16 years of age.
- Be an Australian citizen and have lived at your current NSW address for at least one month.
Alternative pathway
You may also qualify if:
You are a British subject who was enrolled to vote on 25 January 1984 and have lived at your current NSW address for at least one month.
Before you apply
Important Information
A person can only be relied upon by one political party for registration purposes.
The party may contact you to complete an official Declaration of Party Membership if required by the NSW Electoral Commission.
If the party becomes registered, declarations for members relied upon for registration may be available for public inspection as required by law.
Membership applications are subject to approval in accordance with the party's constitution and rules.
