Chapter 01 · My Family

Where it began

I was nine years old when my father, Severino II, a purchasing manager, passed away on 26 February 1965. My mother turned 99 on 24 June 2026. I still remember every meal we prayed together, and how our presence at the table was a must a kind of culture that, sadly, is no longer practised in many homes today.

I have been blessed with six children and twelve grandchildren, all growing up here in Australia. Watching my kids build their own lives in business, in service, in raising the next generation has given me the greatest joy of my life.

Family, faith and presence at the table that is the Australia I want my grandchildren to inherit.

Chapter 02 · My Parents

Faith, discipline, dignity

My father's example of hard work and my mother's quiet faith set the compass I still follow today. Everything APA stands for dignity, service, presence was learned first at their kitchen table.

Chapter 03 · Anthony's Story

Why I speak plainly about the health system

My son Anthony was born in 1988 Australia's bicentennial year. He passed away in June 2008. His story is the reason I speak so plainly about the state of our health system in New South Wales. No family should have to wonder whether the system did everything it could. Anthony's memory is one of the reasons I keep going.

Chapter 04 · For My Twelve Grandchildren

The Australia they will inherit

What worries me is the future my twelve grandchildren are inheriting. They are properly nurtured by my kids but too many parliamentarians appear lazy. The Aboriginal issue is still unsettled. Communities are asked to be patient, again and again. So what does that make the everyday, adverse Australian of today?

What "Aboutpeoples" Means

Real people. Real rights. Real leadership.

The party is called Aboutpeoples Party AP, for short because it is about the basic needs and goals of the adverse Australian. Not slogans. Not spin.

The Aboutpeoples Party exists for the adverse Australian of the day for the family at the table, and for the twelve grandchildren yet to make their mark.
