Running as an Independent for the People of NSW
Severino Lovero Founder of the Aboutpeoples Party of Australia is standing again as an Independent candidate at the 2027 NSW State Election.
What I'll fight for
Health System Accountability
NSW families deserve a health system that does everything it can, every time. No more excuses.
Parliamentary Responsibility
An end to lazy politics. Members of Parliament should answer to the communities they serve.
Aboriginal Reconciliation
Progress that is real, respectful, and measurable not endlessly deferred.
Family & Community Values
Support the everyday culture meals together, presence at the table, service to neighbours.
Future Generations
Every decision measured against the Australia our grandchildren will inherit.
Integrity in Public Office
Transparent decisions, declared interests, and real consequences for misconduct trust has to be earned.
A grassroots start and a swing worth building on
At the 2023 NSW Legislative Assembly election for the Electoral District of Fairfield, Severino Lovero stood as an Independent with almost no time and no party machinery behind him. The result was a genuine grassroots signal.
- 3,210 first-preference votes
- 6.8% of the primary vote
- +6.8% swing to Independent
- Ahead of Greens, Legalise Cannabis & Public Education Party
In 2027, with more time and a growing community behind APA, we intend to build on that swing.
